…and a lot of coffee. Howdy! Yes, I am from Texas. My name is M’Lissa <<< with the apostrophe. I have a common name until you see it’s spelling - and I got it for my birthday. I’m a jack-of-all-trades marketer who thrives in learning the 360 of an organization not just to deliver my expectations but to understand how everyone on the team will work together to reach our shared goal.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity of working across music, retail, non-profit, and tech startup sectors. I’m a D2C marketer with a niche of meeting consumers where they are in a retail focused brand awareness to loyalty capacity.

But wait…there’s more! Knowing that the definition of marketing continues to change, well so do I. I earned my certification in digital marketing (University of Denver, 2021) updating to include work with A.I. through Google in 2025. I’m versed in data analytics for both strategy, implementation, and reconcilation of a campaign, and focused on financial acumen to track the marketing spend to direct impact/sales/ROI. But I live in the white-board space of creativity - if we can’t surprise and delight then what are we doing it for?

• My voice goes extra high when I see dogs (at one time I was the proud parent of 4-dogs, 2-cats, and a horse)

• I am a fangirl for trivia nights >> my team and I once got banded from music trivia because we were unbeatable

• I respond in lyrics and movie quotes a healthy amount of times per day
